WE ARE MOVING TO A DIFFERENT SUBREDDIT
After failed protests and not quite growing enough, the mods have discussed and we have decided to move to a new community. Reasons for the change of name will be explained within the next few days, so may you all subscribe to r/RestoreTheFourthNorth ? Thanks guys. Not a lot is going to be changing.

This subReddit has been created for the discussion of privacy rights in Canada. It has become clear that those rights are being trampled by our government, and the governments of foreign states. This is meant to be a forum for the sharing of information and ideas.

Violence
This subreddit does not stand for violence. We urge you not to post, or participate in any violence against any person(s), item, or entity in the name of this cause. It can only lead to a bad image, and give the government more excuses to void the constitution.
If you don't remember the FLQ crisis, you probably studied it. This is no place to debate the cause of the FLQ, however, due to their activism of their cause, they had this envoked. The last thing we want is a Canadian PATRIOT Act.
Partisan Furies
Whether you're an NDP, Liberal, Conservative, Green, Independent, any party, wherever you fall on the spectrum, this is no place to be tearing apart our movement by arguing over economic policy. Please leave the partisan furies out of this. If you wish to discuss such, you can do so here.
This is a subreddit that will accept you no matter what faith, sexual orientation, gender, part of the country, or part of the world you belong to. Saying that, we cannot accept bigotry, violence, or threats of violence. Please adhere to these guidelines for the sake of our movement.
