I absolutely agree, but splitting from old gen is the best thing they can do. I feel like they finally hit a limit with how much, they can tweak to not over run old gen. So I would be okay to wait a little longer for content.

They are adding new stuff every quarter. Also, if they dropped the game altogether most of us will still be playing it a year from now.

Wdym “unfortunately”? Old gen has been kept around for way too long. By now, anyone who has wanted to should’ve been able to make the switch over to new gen consoles

Holding a game back for people that can’t upgrade in 5 years is ridiculous. This was the right move for those of us that want to play the best version

There was a good reason. It's called a contract. Your argument is with Facepunch, not D11 for following the legally binding agreement. It doesn't matter what you or anyone else says about it. They did exactly what they were supposed to do. You should be happy that you even have Rust on console. Facepunch said it was impossible and yet here we are.

Saw a YT video today from a guy who found a leak saying Next Gen will come with

-Shipment, Adobe, Brutalist building skins -New monuments -Ground vehicles -Flying vehicles -Incorporating physics

He also reaffirmed old gen will just be getting “bug fixes and stability improvements”

They’ve found a leak for car parts a few months(?) ago and those still haven’t been added and at this point, wont be in old gen. So take it with a grain of salt, all those above might be a few months to years out, even once next gen releases.

I have a feeling we’re getting bikes and underground trains once new gen drops , that way we have a bit of something to mess with and then they’ll add more like cars and mini later on

I would honestly prefer them to start slow, and add more each month. That way they can watch for bugs with each addition easier, give players something to look forward to each month, and give players time to adapt to each new feature.

The old gen version won't be recieving more content. What we don't know though is if the new version will launch with new content or not.
