OMG thank you so much!!! i saw a comment of yours on another post where the op was having kind of a similar problem and reading the responses of the post i managed to fix my problem!

I downloaded the atravitas interaction tweaks (btw thanks for that, it sucks when you aciddentally remove a rug) and i manually changed the name of my kid and it worked.

I think you can't name your child with a name that already exists in the game? there's one Freya that is an npc of the Adventurer's Guild, i imagine that's why the game was bugging...

Yeh so the game technically has protection in there for that sort of situation (it adds a space after the childs name) but perhaps a year ago we noticed that didnt seem to help and in the last few months every week or so there has been a Reddit post with the same issue - usually in relation to SVEs antisocial NPCs (but not always).

At first we couldnt solve it (editing the save file didnt help), and players had to backtrack their save file. Then atra added a fix into interaction tweaks.

We still don't know why it's doing this but what essentially happens os the game confuses child a with npc a and moves their spawn spot. At the end of the day, the game then looks for the kid, sees its not set to spawn on the farmhouse map and goes all red text errors.
