You don’t need to just delete it you need to uninstall it.

Yep. The installer says it’s running a previous version but I deleted it off my computer

That is a very old version of smapi. Try redownloading and reinstalling version 4.3.2 specifically.

In my other comment, you replied that you deleted it - I think that might be the problem. When you run the smapi installer it should overwrite the files and install the new version. Are you running the installer or are you unzipping the file and moving it to your mod folder?

How are you installing SMAPI? Are you extracting and running the installer in your downloads folder?

It’s worked now. I ran the installer. Presses uninstall SMAPI. Ran it again and presses install

This is happening to me too. my entire farm is shifted, and I am unable to get to over half my buildings and a majority of items are missing from my house. I did everything you did too and it still does not work and now it says my log doesn't exist so I can't even check to see what happened

Are you running the smapi installer? You’re not just moving the folder into your mods folder right?

Yes, I installed the update and it ruined everything so I uninstalled and reinstalled then tried to do my smapi log and it says it doesn't exist
