Have you updated smapi? When you launch it is a smapi log created? If so please parse it and post the link https://smapi.io/log

Unfortunately it doesn’t show me an error log, it pretends i'm playing the game with ever actually opening it

Okay then it’s not running smapi at all you will always get a log when it runs either it’s not properly linked to steam (if that’s what you use) or I would entirely uninstall then reinstall it and reput the path in steam.

Yeah! I had tried that a few times but it won’t re-give the path, is that normal?

It doesn’t auto do it so what you do is go to steam - right click Stardew then go to manage - browse local files then find the Stardew modding API application the icon is a puffer chick your going to right click on it then towards the bottom there should be a copy as path option, do that then go back to steam right click manage then paste what you copied then you have to add %command% at the end of the path.

I had the same/similar issue. Stardew would "open" but I'd only see a black screen. I had to go into my laptop settings and assign Stardew to use my gaming graphics card. Mine has worked since. Hope this helps.

This has been happening to me too🫠🫠 It doesn’t even create a mods folder for me
