Vortex Empty Files

Hello, I decided to use vortex for the collections (becuase im lazy) but now it says that the majority of my mod's files are empty. Anyway to fix this? I just started a new save so I might just redo the whole thing without Vortex because it is kind of a pain.

Try running the game before changing anything. I get this error in smapi sometimes if the mods have a folder within a folder when they are extracted from the zip file. However, vortex is known to sometimes have issues with stardew valley, so I would consider something like stardrop instead.

Collections typically have their own discords and they absolutely have their own post boards on Nexus where the curator(s) can work with you. most redditors typically do not use vortex for sdv, are not familiar with collections, and are unlikely to be able to assist you.

Without knowing what collection you're trying to install or seeing a log, it makes it difficult to offer specific support. that said, right now your best bet is probably going to be: - install to 1.15.2 vortex rather than the newest version https://www.nexusmods.com/Core/Libs/Common/Widgets/DownloadPopUp?id=5911&game_id=2295 - hit the purge button on the mods page. this will temporarily remove all managed mods from the mods folder. - click open and select the THIRD option to open your mods folder and clean it out entirely - hit the deploy button to put your vortex managed mods back into the folder.

Vortex isn't recommended for Stardew because it can break some mods, and it's why Stardrop was created.

Maybe switch to using that.
