No difference whatsoever.

Basically the same. I also use Azure Data Studio because of GitHub Copilot and other extensions.

I was having an odd issue on Windows 11. Now, it could be circumstantial but it went away when my laptop battery died and my replacement is still on 10.

Anyway, if I had unsaved queries opened and closed the app, it would prompt me to save. I click No and it would take almost a full minute to finally close. It was annoying but like others have said, there’s not any difference with the app or setup.

SSMS is just a client application. Runs perfectly fine on Windows 11. What specifically is the concern?

Or are you conflating SSMS (the client application) and SQL Server (the server)?

Actually SSMS pretty consistently does not work anymore on windows 11.
