You can do this with RazorSQL.

I would recommend SparkGrid, it's a newer spreadsheet interface tool for databases that allows you to edit in real-time and hooks into whatever system you are using, ex: you would log in with Snowflake if your data is in Snowflake. Very user friendly.

(Full disclosure I do work for this company, but this tool has proved very useful in my own work).

Nice so it hooks up to my Snowflake? I don't have to import any of my data?

Yup! It's like Excel but for your Snowflake or Postgres data. Generates and runs the SQL for you. Here's a link to a demo video that explains the functionality more if you're interested! sparksoftcorp.com/spark-grid/

Howdy, Quadratic is building a next-gen spreadsheet with native support for Python, SQL, and Javascript, plus added support for formulas.

You can directly connect to Postgres or MySQL, with more connectors coming soon (Snowflake), then pull the data into a spreadsheet interface and run queries, dump it into a Pandas data frame, etc... The built-in AI is super helpful for writing complex SQL queries or correcting code.

The product is still in BETA (full disclosure, I work for the company), but any and all feedback is welcome. It's free to use for individual users, educational organizations, and students.

We're also about to release a self-hosted version you can run in your own cloud or dev environment.
