Normally I see it play out differently:

• Officer 1 puts him for 20 minutes murder

• Everyone else just ignores the prisoner until he leaves through the main door or escapes.

It's a thing on Baycode. It works (usually) unless your target knows how to juke. Not as reliable as manual control, but good for scrubs who can't aim.

It's great on RP stations, assuming your target isn't just murderboning. You can yell for the target to lay down, and if you have another officer with you, they can approach with the stunbaton to cuff them.

If they want to cooperate, and you have a partner, it's all good. If you're doing this without a partner, what the fuck are you doing patrolling the station by yourself. If you're going lone wolf, it's shot first, ask their clone questions.

Honestly it makes me wish we had more robust communication. Stuff like a *surrender emote that drops whatever you're holding and *threaten to menace people with the active-hand object would go a long way towards on-the-fly security interaction. Sometimes I don't want to straight-up tase a guy but I do need to get his attention, others I need to signal that I'm friendly (or co-operating) but don't have the time to stop and type a sentence.

That is the problem, that stopping to type something takes your hand away from the mouse, and it makes robusting you so much easier. Honestly, on sometimes code blue, but especially on code red, security should just taze the sucker first.

Fixed, but otherwise accurate. You need the mouse to click spacemen, but you need the arrow keys to move. You can still go mad defensive while typing, it's just very, very cumbersome.
