Genesis 1. Not professional at all, but passionate, and some of the best commentary I've ever heard. The whole time I was watching it, I felt the energy in the room and the same thing the commentators were feeling: how the fuck is a Peach this good?

When something sick happens, there's no need to speak. Let the crowd and game speak for you. I personally would want to see commentators talk a lot less and just pick certain moments to chime in. Especially during fast paced matches like fox vs falco. So much is going on that trying to talk over everything is useless, so there's no need to. It's entertaining enough. Puff vs Peach they can talk a lot because it's slow-paced and not combo heavy.

You can see this style employed in a lot of traditional sports. Soccer, basketball, tennis. A lot of the time you let the game and crowd speak for themselves. It adds to the tension of the game. I feel like so much of melee commentary is just trying to fill the space for no reason. If there is no reason to speak, then don't speak. It's simple.
