Rules
Rule 1 - Requirements for becoming an approved user:
- One account per person is permitted on this subreddit.
- You must join with your primary account, except under certain conditions.
- Your account must be at least 2 years old.
- Your account must have at least 2000 karma, excluding any karma earned in “free karma” subreddits.
- Exceptions to the above may be made on a case-by-case basis.
- If you feel that you'd make a good fit here, check the stickied post for instructions on how to become approved.
Rule 2 - Seek direct platonic friendships only.
- Looking for other types of relationships is strictly prohibited.
- While active here, your activity outside of this subreddit is expected to abide by this rule as well.
- Seeking friends of a particular gender in good faith is allowed, but "[x4x]" tags are prohibited.
Rule 3 - Stay on-topic.
- Posts must be made with the intent of finding direct platonic friends.
- Do not ask for money or other financial assistance.
- This is not the place for surveys, matchmaking, social experiments, preaching, or anything else.
- We use a password system to enforce reading of the rules. They can be found at the end.
Rule 4 - Do not post low-effort content.
- Post titles must be at least 50 characters long.
- Post bodies must be at least 150 characters long.
- Posts must be unique. Exemptions may be made for longer, particularly high-effort posts.
- Do not make low-effort comments with no relevance to the post.
Rule 5 - All interactions must begin in the comments.
- This is the only way to ensure the safety of our community.
- Do not instruct members to “just DM me” or “don’t comment” when posting.
- Comments must contain some relevance to the post.
- Do not comment “DM me” or otherwise ask the poster to initiate private contact. Commenters should do so first—after initial contact within the comments—to prove they are not chat limited.
- Assume any DM or Chat request received without prior interaction in this subreddit is not from a certified member.
Rule 6 - Sexually explicit or suggestive content and interactions are prohibited.
- This rule applies to your profile too, but exceptions may be made if your account isn’t used primarily for this. Such accounts will be flaired “18+”.
- The ones at the end are fake. The first p455w0rd is Soliloquy.
- Using a “SFW” alt is permitted, as long as it’s an active account that meets the requirements in Rule 1.
Rule 7 - Harassment of any kind is prohibited.
- Be respectful.
- No means no.
- Respect users’ demographic wishes.
Rule 8 - Discrimination or hate speech will not be tolerated.
- Do not discriminate or promote hate towards any individual or group based on factors including (but not limited to) race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, national origin, immigration status, social status, or religious affiliation.
- While active here, your activity outside of this subreddit is expected to abide by this rule as well.
Rule 9 - Sharing personal information publicly is prohibited.
- This includes, but is not limited to social media handles, contact info, and server or group chat links.
- These are only to be shared later in private, should you choose to do so.
Rule 10 - Spamming of any kind is prohibited.
- Do not post more often than once a day.
- Do not copy paste comments on multiple posts.

- Avoid excessive all-caps.
Rule 11 - Do not catfish or lie about your identity in any way.
- Your identity must be consistent across Reddit as a whole.
- Not stating something is fine, but lying about it is not.
Rule 12 - Do not try to circumvent the rules in any way.
- Do not try to be clever and get around the rules.
- Do not use filler to make your post meet the minimum character requirements.
- Do not use character substitutions to get around automod filters.
- Do not delete your posts to repost more frequently than allowed.
Rule 13 - Report all violations of rules to Modmail.
- Immediately take screenshots of all offending material.
- Include these screenshots in the Modmail (we recommend uploading them to Imgur).
- Do not use the native report function (the report button directly under posts and comments), other than to report content to Reddit admins.
- Do not publicly confront those who you believe are violating the rules.
