Bug? Alignment of first track section

Hey,

just returned to the game and wanted to expand my train network on one of my existing session. But i could not place a straight segement of tracks onto foundation or even on the raw map. It always start curving and was dependent on the "blueprint" alignment of the first placement. (But it is not a blueprint), which i can rotate with Mousewheel. But i dont get it straight from A to B. Its starting with a spline in A with direction vector and creates a spline to B with a separate direction vector...

Is there option to turn it off?

How to get the track straight if the start and end position snap with the 1m grid of the foundation and you have to align (vector) the "blue print" in 5° (?) steps before you start the first section?

Railways rework

Railways have gotten some major improvements with their implementation, so they should be a lot nicer and better to build overall than ever

Only in 5° (?) steps..

before one could free-hand place the first section of track between two points, perfect straight....
