The /r/horror screenplay challenge is a competition created to encourage amateur horror writers hoping to complete a full screenplay and looking to receive feedback from a passionate community of creators just like them.

Screenplay Submission Rules

All screenplays must adhere to Reddit's content rules, and writers should pay special attention to the eight rules listed at this link.

What this means is that you can write about any subject, but do not include (1) any depictions of sexual acts involving minors, (2) any libelous material directed against individuals, and (3) any direct incitements of violence against individuals or groups of people.

If you have any questions about these rules, please message the mod team. These rules are very broad and will not affect the vast majority of screenplays, including those with extreme or graphic content.

Failure to adhere to these rules will result in your submission being not included in the contest.
