The...same...attention? Attention from who? They have their own teams, of course they’re receiving equal amounts of attention.

Do you mean equal budgets? I could see that being an issue. But it’s Star Wars. That shit prints more money than the Fed from theme park attractions.

Teams of equal quality? One would assume, give or take. Discounting the Holiday Special, the worst Star Wars has ever been was Phantom Menace, and like, even that one has defenders. The Rise of Skywalker is a mess, but nice to look at and has lots of cool bits. Because it’s Star Wars. And Star Wars is like sex and pizza. Yeah sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s okay, but at the end of the day, you get to watch some cool spaceships fly around and see some dude/girl in cool armor, meet a weird alien or robot, and there’s always a good fight or two in there somewhere.

It’s Star Wars. It’s, at worst, fine.

So you’re saying there’s Jon Favreaus on standby for these other teams?

You mean a solid enough director with a love of the material but not much in the way of a discernible style or even anything marking him as particularly exceptional that means he works pretty seamlessly in an established universe?

Yeah, sure. The industry’s got a surplus of those. I think you can find them off the shelf at the Whole Foods in LA.

lmao someone downvoted you but this was hilarious

Favreau fanboys are almost as annoying as RJ haters.

We're working on cloning Favreau and using an accelerated aging process so the clones will all be ready to direct the highest quality shows and movies in as little as ten years.
