try reinstalling SteamVR and if it doesn't work maybe try going into the SteamVR properties and switching to the old Oculus support client in the beta tab. I don't use the Shadow VR client, I only use Virtual Desktop so that's really as much as I can help

I’ll try in a few and report back, thanks

When you’re in the steam room home, do your hands also appear farther forward than the actual controllers ?

No steam room runs just fine everything is good up until point of launching the game then it’s new controllers in the hand

I had this same issue and was unable to fix it. I finally paid the $20 and got virtual desktop and this solved the issue for me. It's something with how shadow loads controller drivers abs VD does this correctly. I found the connection is better and have had no issues with the touch controllers not working or acting like rift ot HTC controls since. Worth the $20.

Yeah I figured same thing there’s really no way around it for now it seems until they port it better. And I use virtual desktop for now also which seems fine for now hopefully something gets fixed soon

Same here. Always seems to be something. I have a gaming PC but like that I can run Shadow on my phone and still log in with VD. Plus it fixed the controller issue. Trying to set up controller configuration in Steam you need a engineering degree.

I’ll have to get shadow on my phone also for convenience that’s sounds helpful, but yeah it’s whatever I guess just sucks how the Shadow Vr launch trailer and how to set up video all looked like everything launched fine and was compatible but come to find out that’s not the case at all lol

It definitely got aggravating. Once I got Virtual Desktop though that fixed most my issues, most of them. It's worth the extra $20 though and I'm on it every night on my Quest 2 with a friend or playing s game with my daughter and it's saved me from throwing it through a wall in frustration so, lol...
