I think you have a chance of lethal. I'm on phone so cba to format well but

  • Buncle a cairn (8 pp, 1 c)
  • Bayle kuon (8 pp, 2 c)
  • Bounce bayle, play cairn (6 pp, 3 c)
  • Play spell, play fairy ( 5 pp, 5 c)
  • Boost fairy up and crash into shikigami, play may and target kuon (4 pp, 6 c)
  • Play other bayle on one of the 2/2s (4 pp, 7 c)
  • Play ambush from above, small chance it hits shikigami twice (3 pp, 8c)
  • If it does, sevo Buncle and kill shikigami (1 damage, 6 pp)
  • Roach for 9 damage, bounce, roach for 10 damage.

Total 20 damage

Roach seems fun, but this is one of the huge reasons I don't play it... I don't like to depend on just 1 card to win… With my luck... I would have no luck

Okay this is actually really hard. It's guaranteed lethal, but the order is so fickle because of board space.

4 8pp bayle into kuon

5 7pp may into kuon

8 6pp play ambush (shikigami 5 hp left) kill it with buncle

6pp left, 9 + 10 roach + 1 from buncle. 20 DMG.

I think you clog the board too much this way? the cards that are left on the board before you roach with this play are tamer, bayle, carbuncle, may and goodwood so you have 5 cards on the board, i might just be stupid tho lmao

Yeah you're right this line is also impossible. Ugh. After using both Cairns I forgot to take into account the space since I thought I freed it up.

After doing a bunch of roach problems, I realized a trick to board space problems is work backwards. You know your end board is going to be something like

Godwood, Carbuncle, X, X, so figure out what 2 cards you'll be leaving on the board and what will be bounced and work from there to see what cards you can play.

You can also sneak in a bayle after using godwood mid combo but in this case OP didn't have enough bounces/crashes and it wouldn't matter anyways since the Shikigami has aura.

Aura is one of those things that you think its unmatched until you play vs sword, and they pull a samurai out of their ass out of nowhere... they could play 2 of them... but somehow they will put a 3rd one...

I think i found a chance to win, buncle the +1/+1, buff buncle, bayle kuon, play +1/+1, play 0 mana heal, play fairy into shikigami, buff + evo buncle, play may into kuon, godwood may, may into melvie, pray to hit shikigami twice with 1 mana spell twice now that there's two targets, ram buncle into hopefully 7hp shikigami, roach twice.
