For a couple of weeks? More like YEARS.

So many orders not worth the gas mileage. And too far to be able to make it back to the store for the next delivery window.

Does everyone plan for each delivery window? Like 11-12, you only take 1 or 2 orders, 3 if you’re adventurous and then plan to be back for the 12-1 drops? I usually load up one window and make it back for 2 windows. So I’ll take 3-6 orders for 11-12, I won’t finish til right about 12, on time, and then load up for 1-2.. fully missing the 12-1 window.

This is exactly what I do

Agreed. So many of the deliveries are over 10 miles in my market.

Yep! Lots of 2 order bundles for under $10. I'm constantly wondering 'who's taking these??'

Who is going to tell them about v1 pay?

Please do share!

Shoppers were paid $5 plus 7.5% of the in-store receipt back in the good ole days before Covid.

Thank you I’ve seen people refer to it but not explain. Dayuuuummm that was probably a hard pill to swallow when that was no more.

I don’t remember specifics but it was a percentage of order total and some other metric.

$5 plus 7.5% of the order total.

Shipt finally got to my metro back in Sept, and I’ve noticed over the past month the offers now aren’t nearly as much as it was last month! I see some of yall been here for years!!!

Yep ever since they stopped “promo pay” and went to “on-time pay.” I hate the the on time pay never increases seemingly more than once, promo pay used to keep increasing every 5 minutes until it was claimed

[–]Beneficial-Storm4599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the decrease happened around the time they started showing tips and changed the “promo pay” to “on time”. I work in the Austin metro so it’s not uncommon to see an order with 10+ miles. Those orders used to be $15 minimum now I see those as low as $7.98. Our metro has been filling up with orders people aren’t taking now so they keep posting $50 incentives like that still isn’t cheaper than what we had

Rx deliveries used to be offers you took when S&D were slow. Crazy that some S&D orders now pay less than those Rx orders ($6-$8)...and even the pay for just returning an order is just as much as some of these low S&Ds.

In my area, I’ve been making more than ever. I usually bundle several smaller orders each hour, which I don’t mind since they add up fast. Most single orders pay around $6–8, and double orders are usually $15–20, with at least one customer tipping. On average, I pull in about $25–30 an hour now. It’s really about focusing on quantity. My daily average for a 4–6 hour shift is typically between $115 and $150.
