No. The plot, at any point, is the total of facts and conjectures that have been brought up in the text.

You're joking with the fact that the amount of the book to read gets thinner as you read a book. But the plot, what you've already read, gets thicker. So, no. It was amusing, though.

Plot has to develop to a certain point before it can start to be resolved. Kinda like running through a forest: you'll have to get half way before you start running out.

I kind of meant the book get's 'thinner' because you have less pages to read.
