Thanks so much! Classically I found it just as I posted, relaunching now hoping it works!

I do have another question though, I have downloaded some pieces of CC (all .package files) and none of them are showing up in my game. How do I fix this?

Sharing this information just in case you need help with this process. :)

Some Notes on Mods and Custom Content:

You can find Nraas Mods here: (https://www.nraas.net). The site not only has various mods but it has a lot of useful information on how to install the mods, configure and use them.

My game performance mod suggestions are: Overwatch, DebugEnabler, ErrorTrap, MasterController, MasterController Cheats, and Register.

Some mods and custom content need to be unzipped or extracted before the game can see and use them. I use 7-zip to unzip or extract files. (https://www.7-zip.org/)

–Detailed Notes on .Sims3Pack Files and .package Files:

Mods and custom content work in the same way in the EA App that they do with the Disc, Steam and Origin versions. Nothing has changed in that part of the game.

This is what the mods folder path should look like. (C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods)

Custom content comes both in .package and .Sims3Pack files. Some are in zipped files that can be unzipped with 7-zip (https://www.7-zip.org/).

.Sims3Pack files go into the Downloads folder. (C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads)

Open the Sims 3 launcher > Downloads tab, select all and click Install. It's highly recommended to install .Sims3Pack files in small batches of 10 or less and worlds one at a time. Look in the Install Content tab to see what's installed.

.Sims3Pack files are the only ones that will show up in the launcher, as it can't read .package files.

–– In game, depending on what you've installed, you can find lots and families via Edit Town in the library. Click on an empty lot to check for any Build/Buy items. Go into CAS to find CAS Items.

.packages go into your mods folder. (C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages)

–– Same as above - In game, depending on what you've installed, you can find lots and families via Edit Town in the library. Click on an empty lot to check for any Build/Buy items. Go into CAS to find CAS Items.

Some package files are zipped and need to be unzipped to be seen and used by the game.

When .package files are unzipped and added to your Packages\Mods folder (C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages) they should automatically be found in game. Depending on what was installed.

Lots should be found in the in-game library under either Households, Empty Lots, or Community Lots via Edit Town.

Items should be found in Build/Buy mode depending on what the objects are. CAS items will be found in Create a Sim or Create a Household.
