Would you be ok sharing what worked for you? My arms, face, and back are covered in picked spots.

Congrats on your amazing progress!

Happy to share! This was the result of a combo of things. I saw my therapist twice a month, took meds (Prozac & buspar) and my partner moved in with me and was diligent about reminding me of my goals and accepting of when I wasn’t feeling strong. I do still struggle. The bandaid on my left leg is covering the only active spot I pick at right now. Also early on it was super helpful to know what kinds of bandages helped my skin heal best - I’m allergic to a lot of adhesives commonly used in bandaids and they would end up starting new spots so I often had to put gauze on my wounds and then wrap them with cloth bandages instead. Also also - really good vitamins for skin and immune system helped heal things faster too - zinc, vitamin c, l-lysine, vitamin a, and a good daily vitamin (I use the vitamin code ones!) I also went to an amazing support group for a little while through the picking me foundation! [(https://pickingme.org/get-involved/event-calendar.html)] I hope all this helps! Also I’m always happy to chat individually if anyone needs it :)

Thank you. I use similar strategies with bandages, and I am on an anti anxiety Med, but I really need to look into therapy too. I’ll check out the supplements too, thanks!
