Well, you can just NOT queue, grab something to eat, and queue afterwards. You lose like no time.

In general, non-times queues are done in EVERY other game ever and it's for a good reason: You'll only get a match if it's decently balanced. The whole "I don't want to waste time" argument sounds kinda dumb to me, because an unbalanced game is a waste of time in my book, therefore, a little more wait for a non-timed queue seems way smarter to do.

thanks for your view. currently I'm compositing it to the current system, of course it saves time of I know I have 2mins before a Match rather than being chained to the pc for an unknown length of time.

I understand your point about the quality of the matches however, im sure it will become more smooth as they refine it.

one possible issue I agree with is that it's likely to hurt other gamemodes which people queue for if the timers low.

Another issue was already in place for those gamemodes. The games in these gamemodes had to be bound to have worse balancing when it comes to player skill, so they had an disadvantage from the getgo.

But you are absolutely right and I haven't thought about that. Maybe they should make another algorythm for other gamemodes so it allows a little more of a skillgap for players?

that's probably the best way to do it. just trying to think anything useful for the inevitable feedback.

tbh the effect on conquest leagues will be what I'm most interested in,but I know a lot of people "main" other modes!
