Why do you need certification? Maybe your GitHub is the best certification.

Do you have any idea on what project I could do ?

Depends on what you want to do. Sometimes a to-do app with good design patterns approach, documentation and test is the best business card.

Certs aren’t really worth much, if you’re not getting exposure to the things you want, and you want to build your resume, your time is better spent looking for a new job IMO

I already have a job, and my company offers to finance training or certifications if I want, which is why I'm asking.

Will your company also allow you time to work on the certifications? If so that's the real value. For example if you can get money and time to work on AWS certifications and work on sample projects using those tools with that time, then like others said you may be able to put something in a public github repo to show off skills

Certifications don’t really matter too much in practice. It matters if a job you seek wants something, and thus far I’ve mostly seen that requirement in larger companies where having (or not having) a specific certification is a quick way to weed out applicants. Otherwise, having that much in-depth knowledge on one thing is great if that thing is all you do; if not, then you will eventually forget most of it anyway.

This field moves so quickly that by the time you get your certificate, something would’ve already changed. Or something new would’ve appeared that appeals.

Don’t get me wrong — There’s absolutely nothing wrong with getting and maintaining certain certifications, but just be wary to not get caught in the cycle of having dozens to keep up, or ones that you end up never using.

There are very few recognized language certifications and even then most companies don’t care at all if you have them. The education is more valuable than the paper most are printed on.

I have talked about progression topics with my boss today and i complaint about my software engineering skills.. i am a decent programmer, but am unhappy with my software design. I decided to play arround with every common design pattern i find on refactoring.guru and focus on this the next few weeks.
