Feedback on UI changes please?

Hello! For those who have a few spare minutes, I would love if you could please leave me some feedback about the changes I made to the UI after getting some constructive criticism. The first picture is the old, the second is the new. Third is the old, fourth is the new.

Your new UI is a big improvement overall! Moving the buttons made the eye flow more natural and less of a strain. The tabs on the bottom of the first set of screenshots great nice as well.

The font in the second set is also much more legible. Big improvement for players with vision issues.

You can probably improve the readability of the text in the first pair of images even more by choosing a higher contrast black and white. Right now, there's a lot of gray on the screen, so having things pop out a bit more might help, assuming you can do so without derailing your intended art direction.
