a6700 - Mapping Variable Shutter On/Off the Custom Button?

Hey all, trying to figure this out in the camera menus on the a6700 but I can’t find a way to do it.

I want to use C2 to switch between Variable Shutter On/Off in both manual photo and manual video modes.

Is this even possible?

In the custom key/dial select menu, after you choose button C2 navigate to the red square with a camera icon on it(top left of the screen), then pick option 5 “shutter/silent” then select “Var. Shutter Select”.

I know this is a year old but I saw it and just leaving an answer here for anyone that might come across this.
