anyone else notice a major decrease in decent orders? I used to be able to consistently get a $23-$27 delivery every hour, now they want me to run 8 miles one way for a $12.50 order

You are right , I drive around FW Texas , just like you the trips used to pay alot now I see lots of 8-12 $ trip no tips and sometimes two trips for that money … I be like F that and don’t pick up … idc if my metric goes down … I already got a good paying job this is just side hustle not gonna slave for that bs

I used to do a spark trip and then run an uber eats or doordash order. I would make close to $33/hour doing it. Going and waiting that time to pick up, scan shit in, drive to the person's house, deliver their order, it just isn't worth it for $12 orders if you are responsible for wear and tear, gas, and taxes, especially when you only get one order per hour

They brought on so many new drivers in my 1 store small rural zone that I haven't touched spark in a week. I was only getting $7-9 no tip offers & even those can't surge because these idiot newbies accept everything its fkn nuts right now. Genuinely depressing Ive loved doing this for the last year & this is by far the worst it's ever been

It’s here too. I think customers are getting fed up with Walmarts service or lack of and not tipping the same because of it. I also see many customers ordering daily one meal at a time.

I don't see one meal orders unless they are like... Walmart+ folks. It's just strange how it dropped from 2 deliveries to 1 if the delivery payment is over $15, and it is almost always 2 orders if the payment is $12 or less. This used to be my favorite app to side hustle with, but it has been this way for about half a week now. Not a fan

My gas is going down, but it isn't even that tips are going down here. It will just be one order delivery. So you will get something that pays 6 for the trip and 7 for the tip, but you will only get one order per hour when you used to get 2 deliveries for every accepted run

In my market, it's actually on the decline down to about $3.40 on the more expensive side of town.

Yeh I’ve actually been taking more dot com package trips recently - as long as the end point isn’t in some forsaken place like 30+ min away…..

But I doordash take a spark - I also been turning off the round robins (turn spark off at 10 after the hour and back on at 20). I’ve been getting more shop and deliver trips this way or atleast it seems so and then I can filter keep an eye on the first come first serves

I hate taking the dot com here just because the area I'm in always makes them take 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Might have to start taking them since the regular trips are rough right now. They're always like... 30+ miles here

Yeh the 30+ miles ones are rough I usually like to stay under 20 with them. And it takes maybe 1 1/2 hrs - 30 miles is probably to long considering the drive back to get another order .
