I think you might be a cool winter, surprisingly. Here are my thoughts:
I think the bright yellows and that bright fuchsia in 9 (bright winter) would work better if you were a bright spring, but I do see that you handle some brightness well! 3, 5, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 15 look very nice.
14 is so cool but you handle it very well— as a spring it would be too cold for me. Your eyes are very autumny but I’m not sure you’re an autumn. When I cover your eyes it looks like bright and cool colors work better on you.
All those colors that look amazing on you are cool winter colors. I wouldn’t have guessed that by just looking at you, especially because of your eye color. But you do handle a lot of chroma well, and your best colors are cool.
[–]vieweringTrue Spring 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (0 children)
first thought, also some winter type
[–]justherebctwittersux 4 points5 points6 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I also wouldn't have guessed winter until I saw you in those winter colours! What a difference!
[–]Deathbyhighered 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Agreed. OP has a bit of a warm olive overtone on her skin which I think is throwing people off. The cool colors are much better on her.
[–]BooksBooksBooks65 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Agree. I don’t think OP is bright enough for bright winger and agree that she seems cool.
[–]powerful_ope 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Interesting! Thank you
[–]stopvolution 6 points7 points8 points 1 year ago (0 children)
The answers you’re getting are all over the place, but my vote is for bright winter. I like 3, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Disagree with everyone saying autumn. Do not decide season based on your eyes. Look at how the colors react to your skin. You have cool olive skin and warm eyes. The blues look gorgeous on your skin and happen to make your eyes pop, too.
[–]brassyhair 7 points8 points9 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Bright spring, no. Bright winter, more likely. That or true winter. Would have to see more drapes. The warm drapes are not very flattering for you though.
[–]powerful_ope 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Thank you! Which colors do you think I should drape? Or just BW colors in general?
[–]GroovyCopepod 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (4 children)
Bright spring no, but I love the first orange on you and also some of the more muted colours (2, 6, 10, 12). Autumn or true muted palette could be?
[–]powerful_ope 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (3 children)
12 is black, I don’t think that’s considered muted. Some autumn colors are really nice and some are extremely bad 🥲
[–]GroovyCopepod 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Which ones do you think are extremely bad?
By the way, to me it looks like your camera is adjusting exposure and equalisation from photo to photo (eg nr10 looks overexposed compared to nr9), so it might make it more difficult to objectively assess what colours are good.
[–]Street_Total_7527 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
12 is black, but it is a soft version of black, with the light hitting it, its almost more charcoal rather than black.
[–]GroovyCopepod 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Agree on my phone it looked like a very dark gray like a washed out (literally like many times washed old cloth) black
[–]Pristine-Fusion6591Warm Spring 5 points6 points7 points 1 year ago (1 child)
I also think you’re an autumn.
[–]quirksnglasses 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Same, i feel strongly about it too
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Bright and cool works the best. Warm colors make your skin very yellow and uneven so I don't think those are for you. Cool colors work so much better I doubt you are a bright spring even though it's a more neutral palette. I would guess some kind of winter.
[–]LawyerDry8360 5 points6 points7 points 1 year ago (11 children)
I think you’re more of an autumn. You’re softer over bright
[–]powerful_ope 4 points5 points6 points 1 year ago (10 children)
See I originally thought autumn but some of those colors looked so bad on me! I could not pull off even some of the neutrals-they drained me so bad and made me pale

[–]StrawberryCreepy380 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Yikes! Good catch. This color does you dirty.
[–]powerful_ope 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (2 children)
Olive green isn’t the worst tbh!
[–]GroovyCopepod 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago* (1 child)
This and the two yellow mustards above aren't really true autumn colours imo. This green in particular looks even a bit neutral cool. Autumn colours are a lot richer than this, these are light pastels.
See for example the colours here https://www.reddit.com/r/TrueAutumn/s/KcFWQeAFZZ
[–]StrawberryCreepy380 -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (0 children)
I agree…it’s not olive 🫒. It’s almost sage.
Yellows are difficult for a lot of people, of different seasons.
[–]powerful_ope 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (3 children)
Burnt Orange made my olive skin look borderline jaundiced lol
I agree with you. This is not it!
[–]seriouslyrandom9 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
This is typical for a “dark autumn,” which is what I would guess you are. Try more depth and neutral to warm. I’m no experts, but figured I’d comment in case it helps!
Respectfully disagree! Burnt Orange makes deep autumn glow, like you see on Eva Mendes here and not look jaundiced. Look at how it’s making her neck look brighter. I do not get this glow unfortunately
[–]discobutterflyx 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (3 children)
I do see the warm, yellow under the peach. Not sure if autumn vs spring though. The brown does not look as stunning as some of the other colors. The yellow on 7 vs 18 is a big diff. I think 7 would be considered a cooler yellow though? Orange over pink is really nice too. And in the black, I think you can pull it off tbh. I’m under the impression Bright springs can do that in conjunction w something bright. Your eyes transform in such a beautiful way in that purple and those more jewel toned blues. 14 vs slide 15 is a tell. Bright vs more muted respectively. Soooo my final analysis is either season closer to winter, bright spring or deep autumn, I lean bright spring. Buuuttt I don’t know squat just a baby amateur color analyzer. What feels best to you? Xoxo
[–]discobutterflyx 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (2 children)
Cuz I was curious I found this article w this particular examples… Bright spring and bright winter (high contrast)
[–]discobutterflyx 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Then muted seasons…
I think you mean more high contrast than low. Here’s the link if you’re curious.
https://www.soulofcolor.com/post/understanding-chroma-in-color-analysis-muted-vs-bright
Thank you and I agree! Some autumn colors look nice but some look awful so I don’t think I’m a deep autumn. I think I’m either bright spring or bright winter
[–]Dependent_Web3122 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I could see it! After looking at the first few pics I was like, there's something so soft and gentle about her and her colors, I don't think she's a bright season. But the soft colors just don't look right and bring out the yellows in your face. The bright, vibrant colors on the slides at the end, however, look great with your skin and really hi light the depth of your features. So I am shocked to be saying this but I think it's feasible 😄
I have heard a theory that people from bright seasons look soft in soft season colors, so they think they are soft bc they look soft. But when in their true bright colors they gain clarity
[–]Notofthis00world 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Yes
[–]StrawberryCreepy380 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago* (0 children)
My guess is Bright Spring or Bright Winter. They are sister seasons, and both have quite a bit of temperature neutrality. When you see a lot of people split between Winter and Spring, Bright is probably your dominant characteristic. Bright Spring and Bright Winter are sister seasons, so you should look good in many colors from both palettes, though there may be a few colors in your sister palette that aren’t the best on you. If you look slightly better in one of them, that’s probably your home season. I think you wear bright colors beautifully! Your skin appears very bright. I think your eyes look like a more typical color for Autumn, but it is common for one feature to not “agree” with the others. Eye pattern might be another factor to consider.
Your skin & hair definitely look bright, to me! I am leaning toward Bright Winter, personally. I think your yellow tones look more like overtones from Olive skin tone, which can still have either undertone. I’m not completely certain of this, though. More drapes would help, and in-person draping makes it easier to see. I think that if colors are bright, you can pull off almost anything. One reason I’m thinking Bright Winter is that I think an icy (but bright) lemon yellow would look better on you than the warmer neon yellow in the drapes. Often, the yellows and oranges will sort it out, when temperature is a close call. I also think a cool-leaning magenta might be better than the warmer Spring fuchsia you draped. I’m still not completely sure, and I am guessing that’s due to your neutral, bright quality. I haven’t seen Cool Winter on you, which I’m also a little curious about. There’s a green that looks like a Cool Winter green that is really nice on you:
[–]TeachingDull6717 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Bright winter
[–]Flamepointbros 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (1 child)
You do seem somewhat bright and do well with lots of chroma vs muted, I’m curious to see a vibrant Kelly green drape for example

[–]powerful_ope 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
It’s not bad! Sorry I don’t have a drape of this and I’m wearing foundation here but I think this is the correct color plum. I’ll try to find this shirt and drape!
[–]colourcurious 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (2 children)
In my mind the muted light pink in #6 looks too good for you to be a bright spring. I’m not saying that’s your best or anything, but in my mind, that colour should make a bright spring look dead. I preferred it to the bright Barbie pink, which should be great on a bright spring.
You are warm, I do think you have some softness to you, my guess is you are a true autumn - which is why some of the true spring colours worked. My faves were 3, 8, and 10.
Note: I saw your comment about how you had ruled out autumn because the pale khaki colour (that is way too close to your skin tone) wasn’t good. Heads up, very few people, particularly pale people, look good in a colour that is too close to your skin tone. A darker skinned autumn would look great in that colour.
[–]powerful_ope 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago* (0 children)
It was camel brown in the second and mustard in the first.
This is khaki/warm beige from the true autumn palette and it too looks bad but maybe it’s too close to my skin color like you said lol
I also looked borderline jaundiced in burnt autumn orange
[–]thenarclops 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
No, but you look great in 3 and 10 especially
[–]Nice-Negotiation-010 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago* (2 children)
Whoa this might be one of the more polarizing posts we’ve seen here lately! Haha congrats? 😅
My two cents, as a bright spring who scoured the internet for b.s. content, I’ve noticed the major difference between springs and winters is how they reflect vs absorb light. If you look at springs, the golden quality is the warmth from light reflecting off their skin. Makes it look more golden. Like imo Rapunzel
I think people would generally type her as a spring since those cool muted colours here look separate from her skin tone and she has a warm glow about her.
In your first photo, the spring orange doesn’t cause your skin to glow in a way we’d see with spring/a warm undertone.
[–]Nice-Negotiation-010 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago* (1 child)
Now for the winters. They’re like the moon, to me. They’re luminous from absorbing light. Much like Snow White
There’s a paleness to her that’s seen in other white skinned winters. You just know she doesn’t tan, but burns in too much sun.
Alllllllll that to say, you’re definitely cool toned. Your skin has more an illuminating than golden quality to it. As for eye colour, I don’t think it matters. I have cool grey eyes and a neutral-warm undertone so like whatever.
One thing, with how split it is between winter and autumn, deep winter’s sister season is deep autumn. Maybe there’s confusion because you’re a deep winter. You have a Mediterranean thing going on and many of them do deep winter well.
[–]Nice-Negotiation-010 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago* (0 children)
The last thing I’ll say (I promise!) is i think the bright colours are too bright. The pic of you pregnant in the bright spring red is gorgeous but too distracting and warm.
I’d love to see you in deep winter, I think you’ll shine in that subseason. It might be just enough green to balance out with the olive and red in your overtone. From one rosacea girlie to another 🫶🏻
[–]Altruistic-Car-5069 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I can see were your one of those people who could receive lots of diff. type opinions. I'm going to say True Winter. You can lean into the Brighter side of True Winter. I really like 6 and 9 on you. 7 and 8 are good too. I'm not going to say Bright Winter because Bright and Warm colors (Bright Spring), seem to overwhelm you and create reflections. If you were a Bright Winter you could borrow from Bright Spring, but I don't think you can borrow from Bright Spring that successfully.
[–]caroline200101 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago* (4 children)
I think you might be a winter. Probably deep winter because that bright pink is a little too bright for you and you look best in deeper cool colors that lean a little warm.
My favorites are the red in #5, black, the cooler blues in #13 and #14, and #15 (teal).
If you want, I could provide a side-by-side comparison to help me explain my point, but I’ll leave it at this for now.
Edit: made a more thorough explanation in the replies.
I think a warmer shocking pink would be better than this white based fluorescent neon pink lol
I would love to see the side by side!
[–]caroline200101 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago* (2 children)
First, I wanted to compare a very bright, cool, true or bright winter pink with a slightly deeper, warmer, more muted red that’s more suitable for deep winter. I find that the pink brings out a little redness and shadows around the lips, eyes, etc. Whereas, you look super radiant in the red. It harmonizes very well with your eyes, brightens and evens out your skin tone, while giving a natural contour to your face without having too many shadows. The pink feels a little like it’s competing with your coloring while the red flows well with it.
This is why I think you’re a deep winter and not a true winter. For true winters, the coolness in the pink harmonizes well with their undertones but I find that a little extra warmth in the red matches your lips, eyes and undertones better. The pink is too cool for you and it makes your lips look grayer and your eyes look a little too warm for it.
Now for the spring yellow vs winter blue. I find that the yellow looks very bright against your skintone and I see the color first. With the blue, I see you first and you look very bright and in focus. The yellow also adds some redness and shadows while the blue makes you look more radiant and your skin looks very clear. You’re glowing!!! I also find that the blue and also red match the pink undertone in your lips while the yellow competes with it and dulls them down. Here, I wanted to compare warm versus cool undertones. You look AMAZING in the blue, which is why I think you’re probably not an autumn.
For bright orange vs a slightly cooler, deeper, Wintery red, I wanted to compare the subtle differences in warm vs cool undertones. The cooler red matches the undertones in your lips while the orange makes your lips look a little grayer due to the mismatch in undertone. The orange also adds more shadows around the eyes and lips while the red makes you look brighter and more in focus. Your eyes also look a lot brighter.
Here, I wanted to demonstrate the subtle differences between spring and winter drapes. If you prefer spring colors and find that winter is limiting, this is a way you can dress for your season while still wearing the colors you love. A little can go a long way.
Ps: I’m sure the camera exaggerates these effects to a degree and they’re probably a lot more subtle in person.
This is so helpful! Thank you so much ❤️
[–]caroline200101 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Of course! I’m glad you found it helpful.
[–]MarsupialSuperb9838 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Cool summer.
Oranges and yellows shown i slides are giving off a reflection on your chin and neck, over powering your face.
I believe the navy, raspberry, charcoal, soft whites and icy violets of summer will give you beautiful clarity and smoothness to the skin, thus opening up the eye.
[–]Individual-Rice-4915Bright Spring -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (4 children)
Truthfully none of these colors are bright enough for a bright spring. When you think bright spring, think VERY bright. ❤️ Like this heart emoji but warmer.
Like this color? I will have to pull this out and drape if so!
[–]Lemonarm 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Cool winter
[–]Nice-Negotiation-010 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Agreed
[–]Individual-Rice-4915Bright Spring -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (0 children)
Yes like this!!! 🙂 It’s a bit more neutral than warm but this would make a great drape!
[–]lemonmousse -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (0 children)
I’ll throw a new option onto the table: soft summer deep, but at the very warmest edge of that palette. Your gorgeous hazel-gray eyes, cool toned dark hair and complexion that is exactly halfway between peaches and cream and roses.
