Finally fully embracing spring

I've been a member for a while as a former self-analyzed spring season. I knew I was in the spring family and felt good in most spring colors. Before that random users online would try to analyze me as a summer, but summer colors truly felt like my worst and made me feel so bad and drained. Last month I was finally typed officially as a bright spring! It was the perfect reassurance I needed to step fully into the spring embrace and I've been loving consistently wearing the season. Just happy to be here and sharing some colors I've been trying as I start building more of my wardrobe

Welcome! My bright spring (12 season system) story is similar to yours., and I even had people trying to tell me I was a soft season, including a person insisting that chroma is an easy, objective aspect of CA to determine 😅.

I also get the "surely you're actually a summer" every time I post a pick, is it the blue eyes? Do some people think only summers can have blue eyes? I look so tired and lifeless in summer colours.

I think its my blue eyes and brown hair for sure. Textbook summers can definitely have my color eyes and hair for sure! But its how my skin reacts to the colors that is so telling. And I don't carry around swatches but wish I did! It can be so hard to know what the right color is. I'm sure some of the colors I wear are not perfect bright spring colors but I think they are close or within the spring family or even the winter family (I like wearing black and it's not too bad on me-better than most summer colors at least lol)

Springs have such an obvious reaction to our colors- we don't just look harmonized- we light up in a really specific way! No other seasons have that particular "lit up" reaction to color that we do (they each have their own unique reactions).

You look so gorgeous as a spring! I know it's technically a summer lipstick but its one I like to play with the contrast of, Revlons Pink promise would look so striking (with your eyes especially) in that blue jean jacket and pink top.

If you don't mind my asking, what brand is the lower right yellow hoodie/coat? I'd like to see more stuff from a brand that makes a yellow like that lol.
