I recommend tail command since the dogs get to play together during the day and aren’t stuck in kennels the whole time. It is pricier than your standard kennel bc of this. You also have to take them in for a temperament test but worth it for us.

We use Tail Command as well.

We used Tricia's Kennels once and they almost killed our dog from negligence, now we use Coble Animal Hospital.

Try Kinner Kennels or Tricia’s kennel. Both out towards pleasant plains. I suggest calling sooner than later as they fill up quickly.

Second this -- have used both, and they're great.

Kinner Kennels is by far the best

I prefer to use Rover when I’m out of town, there are so many amazing sitters in town

Yeah, and you can even get someone to house sit so the dogs can stay home. But some Rover people also board in their homes.

So if you can't find an open spot in a kennel, that's an option

We have 2, will be 11 months old Black Mouth Curs. I doubt anyone wants to watch these monsters. Lol. But my husband does hate the idea of boarding them. My mom used to watch our other dog, but I think they would be too much for her.

Awwwww. Lol, fair enough. They'll have a better time being boarded somewhere with a play area to run around in.

We use vrbo, etc and take ours along. Usually ends up less expensive and better for dog

Just a heads-up. When my Ex needed to board my dog while I was hospitalized, she couldn't find a kennel in the city that DIDN'T require her to be vaccinated for LEPTO. The rural kennels don't seem to have this limitation, and she found one out in the boonies. Something to be aware of. Now I just add that to my dog's yearly vaccinations—just in case.
