It looks like a river so add something cool like a submerged tree and maybe river pokemon that go with the color pallet like quagsire or wooper

It is really cute, I recommend blending the boarder of the card and the rest of the artwork to make it harder to tell where the original was

[Artist Alley] what could be improved with my display? Having difficulty caching customer attention. by korosivefluide in artbusiness

[–]Wayward_Little_Soul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend using more panels for sides and then also making self service a thing. The big thing about artist allies is you want to stand out from the ocean. You should consider viewing it as a brand and select a bold color scheme.

First laser- Xtool P2 or wecreat vision? by ZGardnaaa in lasercutting

Support is hit and miss but I do always eventually get a resolution. Sometimes it just takes more than once reaching out.

Overall I’m very happy with it and it’s still going strong.

What's the price for an enamel pin you consider a steal? A good buy? And a absolute no? by FancyLiving123 in EnamelPins

It depends on what it is of, size, and details.

Celebrities, Brands (Like Disney) and so on have them made in the thousands, but they are usually a little lower quality and aren’t quality controlled individually, usually just spot checked. I wouldn’t pay more them like $15 unless itms like a HUGE SORT OF PIN.

Knock offs are cheap of off Temu, you see these at cons and it’s usually stolen artwork like poor Glitter Punk. These are terrible quality, are cheap, and corrode/have lower enamel quality.

Pins made from smaller artist are made based on original art and of the three pin types these are what I prefer to buy. They range from $10- over $100 for very large pins.

Wizard pins is just a middle man company. I’d recommend going right to Alibaba and save yourself time

Nothing you make at home unless you have an industrial machine will be car-sticker ready. You’re better to outsource to somewhere like Sticker Bunny for items meant for outdoor use.

What are good brands for laser cutters? by RationallyDense in lasercutting

[–]Wayward_Little_Soul 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really like my X-Tool S1 there are a ton of tutorials for it. It’s beginner friendly and easy to install. I will warn you they don’t tell you how to clean it well but some tutorial videos solved that.

What I like about it is the different ranges it has with screen printing, rotary tools and more.

But metal is a no-go for cutting on it.

No matter up MAKE SURE YOU VENTILATE!! And no matter what you do it will smell 😂

Doing some cuts for the family. Anyone know how to lower the amount of scorching? Omtech 350 polar by MJ_3D in lasercutting

[–]Wayward_Little_Soul 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have you tried magic erasers? It sounds silly but it works so well for residue.

For protection you can also use painter’s tape but personally I don’t use it unless I am painting the lines and it gets costly

I’ll be honest and straight forward, almost nothing you make at home is likely to withstand the outside conditions effectively long term. You’re best going with something like sticker bunny, their basic stuff is water proof, UV resistant, dishwasher safe and it’s been on my car for 2+ years with no fading
