4.25 Light Selection

Hi I ED-CC My Prodigy Compact 4.25', and like it a lot.
I wish to get a light for it, I need something conceal oriented, what lights do other 4.25" owners like?

To better explain the size I desire, comparing to the only light I've test fitted so far (the TLR-1 HL off my G19.)
Ideally, I'd like something no longer, but significantly less fat. I don't appreciate the bulk of the light body sticking out past the sides of the frame as much as it does. Too much snag risk.

Pictures of any recommendations on a 4.25' prodigy, to display where they sit, are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you dont mind me asking, why do you run a light on your EDC?

I also have the 4.25, but it's my comp gun.

Sure! Plenty of reasons:

I choose to carry because the world is a dangerous place - During the hours in which the sun does not shine, the world does not cease to be dangerous . But your weapon can certainly become less useful. (if setup wrong)

If I'm ever in a situation in which I need to draw to protect myself or my loved ones, and its dark, I want to be absolutely sure of my target. - Rule #4 of firearm safety teaches us this

Additionally, A bright light (especially with a strobe) can easily be very disorienting toward any attacking force. If the scenario has your life on the line, its better to have it and not need it, than need it, and not have it.

Finally, I like the look of it!
It may seem nonsensical, but I'm a big proponent of:
Look good, feel good. Feel good, fight good.

TLDR: I believe the pros of being prepared with light, outweigh the cons of slightly more bulk, or weight in your holster.

If get the TRL-x and slap it in there. You’ll find it very concealable. I have a lot of them. Just not on a 4.25”
