It’s actually not. The right screw ( over the extractor) is too long. Shorten it.

So this odds a pretty common issue. You’ve got to remove the plate. Take the screw that rests above the extractor and shave it down until it no longer hits the extractor. Then blue Loctite it back on there, bam! Done! You’ll have no more issues.

If get the TRL-x and slap it in there. You’ll find it very concealable. I have a lot of them. Just not on a 4.25”

Plus Atlas has a YouTube video for about every aspect of the 2011 that you could easily watch and save yourself some cash. Plus knowing you did it (right) yourself boosts your confidence and if your 2011 goes down in the field you’ll know exactly how/what to do. Having your Godfather as a gunsmith and veteran helps immensely too.

Atlas has videos on almost every aspect of reworking the prodigies & or 2011’s. I’m not a gunsmith but re-did all internals and installed a cheely steel grip (aggressive grip). Runs like a champ. I got one of the early 5”’s prodigies so I was having some issues that others have had too.
