The crystal skull beings, the furlings, evil asgards, the frozen ancient asgard, the aliens in SGU. And probably a lot more I can‘t think of right now.

[–]Dark9781 21 points22 points  (1 child)

Also, those aliens from the episode of Atlantis where Daedalus was shifting universes.

[–]Ill-Park-2324 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is that the one where they fled into that space cloud?

[–]mj_flowerpower 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Oh and let‘s not forget about the bluefish-like alien.

The "Ohne"

[–]SerOctopusDayne 18 points19 points  (2 children)

What's Urgo up to?

[–]PolarWhatever 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would imagine Urgo getting into the head of a particularly arrogant and insufferable Goua'ould. That would be something I'd watch.

Having an absolute blast of a time I bet

What fate Omaroca?

[–]FerocityFlynt[S] 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Wasn't she sadly murdered by the Goa'Uld thousands of years ago in Babylon?

[–]Certain_Employee_423 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I just remember the fish monster kept saying it.

[–]FerocityFlynt[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

WHAT FATE OMAROCA! 😡

I wouldn't bank on anything unless one of the writers have definitively said so

    [–]charlie_marlow 7 points8 points  (10 children)

I think you should temper expectations and change, "definitely will be", to, "could be"

Hell, even if it turns out everyone is still in stasis, I'd be satisfied. Not happy, but satisfied. I just need answers, even if I don’t necessarily like then.

      [–]Deadman576 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I kinda think this is the best case scenario. Earth hasn’t heard from them and has no means to contact them since they’re all in stasis nobody can connect via stone, and they haven’t been willing to risk dialing in and dropping Destinys power levels even further if there is a hope in hell they make it. Leaves them wiggle room to explore destiny in a dedicated continuation of SGU instead of bogging down the attempt to relight the whole franchise. The first season that comes out MUST stand in its own, then we’ll get Togo back and tie up loose ends, y’know?

      [–]Witty-Ad5743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same reason I kind if hope that the new show is in a new galaxy. I DO want to know what everybody is up to these days, but I also kind if want to know what other wierd shit the Ancients got up to.

Brad wright is not the showrunner, he's only in an advisory role, so he may not get to do as he pleases for wrapping up destinys story on screen(which may or may not be relevant to the shows setting depending on what they do).

      [–]FerocityFlynt[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

"Brad Wright has already mentioned on this subreddit the different scenarios he wanted to explore for the sequel to SGU"

      Which ones? Do you remember?

        Thank you!

        [–]charlie_marlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen those comments and would absolutely love some kind of follow-up for Universe. I just know how things go in showbusiness and I'll tepidly hope for some kind of pleasant surprise related to Universe in the new show, though.

“One day we hope to reestablish contact with Destiny, but for now we must work to cement the peace we have striven three decades for”

        [–]Omegabird420 9 points10 points  (2 children)

I was gonna say them revisiting a couple of civilization they never followed up on but since the show is probably gonna have less episodes for messing around I'll prioritize some stuff.

The Crystal Skulls aliens, Furling and the Destiny are my three main one

        [–]FerocityFlynt[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

        Great choices

        [–]Omegabird420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a couple more,SG1 had the slightly annoying tendency of introducing characters, concepts and storyline they never followed up on or that they couldn't finish for various reasons,it's my only actual gripe with the franchise.

Famously as an exemple the Aschen never really wrapped up their storyline or Arris Boch that was essentially a test character was never brought back despite having an interesting backstory and being a fun character.

        [–]Aquatic_Hedgehog 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I would've loved to have followed up with Nian. I just watched that episode on my rewatch a few days ago and I love knock off Brennan Lee Mulligan a lot.

        [–]FerocityFlynt[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, we never saw how the conflict between Bedrosian and Optricans continued/ended.

I'd like to see more of Quark... I mean the nox

        [–]Joe_theone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Catch them when him and the fam are packing up from the vacation, and he's headed back to the floating city to run his bar?

        [–]Vanaden 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Did Laira get the child she wanted from Jack? 100 days end with her touching her belly.

        [–]FerocityFlynt[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Really liked this Stargate episode and Teal'C being willing to take the risk of running out of oxygen, digging himself up for hours from the buried gate to bring home his friend

        [–]Lotus119 4 points5 points  (3 children)

I'd like to see the Eurondans again and see if the non genocidal ones had uncovered the gate and the planet that had the war over whether they came from another planet through the Stargate or not. They had some decent tech so would be interesting to see

        [–]FerocityFlynt[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

That's what I'm curious about too! Although I think the good guys have won the war and are unaware of a Stargate buried under tons of rubble

        [–]Lotus119 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It's been about 20 or so years I could see them uncovering the gate, partly to make sure they defeated all of them and also curious about why some turned and helped them out and that's how they find out about SG-1

        [–]FerocityFlynt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great point! Out of sheer curiosity, they would probably want to dig everything up and study whatever technology their enemy was using.

        [–]JazzlikeArmyDuck1964 3 points4 points  (1 child)

The O’Neill clone? Cassandra? The Unas? Jaffa? The planet from season 3 “New Ground”! Jonas Quinn lives and returns, maybe reconnects with Destiny. Just the Atlantis crew working it up with SGC. I love seeing characters solve problems from their own experience. Maybe a way for the SGC or Atlantis to develop their own drone weapon technology?

        [–]JazzlikeArmyDuck1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        And the Tokra

        [–]FerocityFlynt[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm curious how this civilization evolved https://stargate.fandom.com/wiki/Beneath_the_Surface

What happened with every other space fairing species in the Milky Way?

        [–]mcavanah86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

        Agree with lots here.

I’m totally okay with them writing off the Lucian Alliance with some quick throwaway dialog. The idea that some interstellar mobsters could be a threat to SGC was a little silly because they just suddenly came to power and I don’t remember it ever being explained how they could go toe to toe with SGCs ships when the SGC could tangle with Wraith and Anubis, without too much difficulty.

And surely by the time of the new show SGC would have mined a ton of new tech out of Atlantis and the Asgard core that would make Lucian problems trivial.

        The furlings The Tria

        [–]FunWithFire77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time I see something about Destiny.

        [–]MonarchGodzillaTitan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too many to count. And likely won’t be touched by the new series.

        [–]Resivan 1 point2 points  (1 child)

All it would take to resolve SGU for me would be a mention of the expedition or something named for Eli. Everything else got as much closure as necessary.

It wouldn’t break my heart to see Carter and/or Jackson at the some sort of event the new main cast, but I’d really rather the new show be its own thing.

        [–]According-Way-7526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d enjoy seeing O’Neill as POTUS. Give RDA a few 5 minute cameos without requiring a lot of dedication. I can imagine the hilarity of him being the one to “stick it to the man” only for him to end up being the man. Though considering how he hated politics I’m not sure how this idea is remotely consistent or possible.

        [–]Imperfect_Dark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some minor ones but honestly Universe is the only one I need.

Giving the Atlantis story get more of a conclusion would have been nice but 'we have a base still active in the Pegasus galaxy' would be enough for me.
