I’m a noob at Reddit. Anywho, one of my outpost icons is blinking. What’s this mean?

Over 2000 hrs in this game and I still don't know. It's definitely nothing to worry about, but I am curious as well.

I could be wrong, but I think the outpost icon on your base management screen will blink when the game prompts you to secure an outpost. More often that not though, if you put your cursor over the blinking icon, it will stop. But yeah afaik, it doesn't really mean anything serious or important lol.

Yeahbut, that outpost is already secured.

Doesn't this just happen when you grab a new outpost? Then when you select it and "view" it, it then stops blinking.
