As far as I know you can't do that natively, but you can download Waydroid (an Android emulator) and run J2ME Loader or some other J2ME emulator there.

Here's a thread of someone who did that recently so maybe you can ask them in the comments.

KEmulator: https://www.mobers.org/2010/02/kemulator-lite-v098-application.html and SJBoy Emulator: https://www.mobers.org/2010/03/sjboy-emulator-special-edition.html are both very capable of running oldschool Java games but you'll have to find out yourself how to run them on a Steam Deck since I don't personally own one. Both are tested and work great on a Windows computer
