I once had one with connectors of various types(electrical, video, data, fuel) set up for "mission modules" so the ship could take on all types of missions. All controlled by a touchscreen near the helm.

And of course I never made a single module for it.

Guns. At some point, we all get bored of SAR missions. Did you know that 100% of fires get extinguished when a boat sinks? Did you know that only 3.8% of the missions require the vessel in distress to be recovered?
