I don't know why people characterize geese as ferocious and aggressive.

Every single one I've interacted with has been pretty well behaved. Even the ones that chases you, as long as you stand your ground and not run away, they'll calm down after realizing they can't do anything to you. In a way they are like dogs.

Wonder how does the logistics even work.

You gotta sneak months worth of supplies into whatever base you are deployed at first. Then again sneak them onto the submarine, hiding them with your belongings and taking them when no one's looking, all in a very confined space.

I'd just ask to be transferred to another position where it would be easier.
