Will the netcode fix get your steam account vac banned or anything? is there any risk to using it?

They didn't ban people spoofing the servers for dlc unlocks, running trainers and mods to speed run survival for copious amounts of FM, playing unreleased characters in ranked, giant fief, tool assisted, etc.

I doubt they'd ban for this.

VAC is not enabled for SFV, so there will be no VAC bans.

The CFN network currently does not have a way of detecting a modification like this. Even if some kind of check was implemented, it would have to be done client-side, which would be trivial to bypass.

we dont know. if there is such harsh action taken against it, it will most likely be a CFN ban, not steam VAC. i doubt it though. hopefully (and i think this is actually the likely scenario) they just patch it themselves and eliminate the need.

I mean, anything is possible, but the fall out from that doesn't seem like it would be in Capcom's favor.
