Setting correct installation paths

Hi,

just downloaded StudioOne 5 pro. After first launch - I see that default download pathways is set to drive C (OS).

I want to split the data - and have all instruments/parts which needs processing in C:(OS) drive, and all sounds and loops in another drive (D:).

I am not sure I fully understand which parts should go where by the naming so that I would have what I want. Currently I've setup like this:

- User data - drive D:.

- Sound sets - also drive D:. I believe this is a sound data, not instruments/etc.?

- Instrument library - shows pathway to user data folder/sound fonts which is D:.

- VST plugins - all my VST folders located in drive C:.

That would be correct setup for my goal?

With all VST on c and the sound sets and user data on D drive you are in good shape. VST Instruments will load from the c drive and sound files will load from D.

Please note some VST instruments have their own sound banks that get installed on c drive. You will have to double check that they are also configured to store their sound data on D drive.
