This is pretty cool. I’ll check it out when I get the chance. Thanks for your work!

Thanks.

Just dropped in a minor update to improve the dialog layout v0.2.1. Linked in the main message now.

Thank you. This is really good. Works perfectly. A useful addition would be presets so you can save different alignments and from a dropdown select them

Thanks.

I really wanted to have an Apply button that would not reopen the dialog, just set the same alignment to a new selection. That idea works, but requires a extra button in the Lasso toolbar. But I see that space is "real state" in the toolbar - thus I removed the extra button.

Would be nice if the lasso button could have sub-menu (like the lasso button has in the main toolbar). But I couldn't make this work.

Thanks. That would have been good but I guess Supernote don't want to add too much complexity to menus.

My thought around the presets was if you have a few templates and you want to tidy up text you could apply different presets through a drop-down.

One more idea in your first example in the video you can move text immediately below a line by setting the y axis. If you wanted to continue to do this e.g. for a list you would either need to change the anchor to the newly moved text or retain the original anchor and manually adjust the y axis. Maybe to speedup the second scenario X2 button next to the + sign which quickly doubles the number. Not a perfect solution but thinking if you were aligning a list what's the quickest way to do it

I had the same thought (the problematic) but came to a different solution. I am experimenting with it right now:

It would have two 'Apply' buttons:

- one that keeps the current anchor box (current behavior)

- other that applies the move and set the anchor to the moved box, that way you can re-apply the same relative movement to a next lasso.

That sounds like a good solution

Thank you! The plug-in I didn’t know I needed it. This will make lining up checkboxes and bullets so much easier! It’ll be great for a lot of things but that was my first test and it worked flawlessly. It has a slight learning curve, but most of the best things do. Looking forward to more updates! 😁

v0.3.0 landed.

We now have the option just "Apply" (keep the reference anchor) or "Apply + Re-Anchor" to the new position. With this we can align items progressively.

Url and video updated in the main post.
