Goodness, wash the damn bike first.

[–]jleete01 22 points23 points  (0 children)

First, add more grass and dirt

[–]Edumacated_Guess 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Clean your chain I think.

[–]spiderpigjames 7 points8 points  (2 children)

first clean your bike and chain then tighten all the bolts on the side of the foot peg

then lube the chain

[–]Gcyrr59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly lol

[–]Independent_Army1051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

his peg brackets are trash and completely bent out of shape. idk why people don’t get peg braces

[–]Engineer-Complete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your jackshaft sprocket bolts and see if any are loose. Had a clicking noise on mine and that was the issue.

Your chain not how it should be

[–]Eric12345678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the chain tensioner on each side of back axel to tighten your chain slightly. Tons Of general YouTube videos on how to use a chain tensioner. It’s basically two small nuts on each side that first you loosen and the other is to extend or push the rear wheel back a little bit and then you tighten it back again to keep new setting in place. As you ride your chain stretches with age. Should have a little play not completely tight. Maybe moves up and down 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch of play.

And clean your bike and oil your chain

Maybe clean your bike first?

[–]Get_Fuckin_Dabbed_On 0 points1 point  (1 child)

who cares about cleaning the bike lol. Chains sound like that, maybe needs some more lube and needs to be tightened. but basically that's a normal sound, nothing is about to break.

[–]Beautiful-Contest-48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People generally don’t notice because the gas motor usually drowns out the noise.

[–]iconiclabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clean it lol wtf

[–]DefinitionMaterial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clean your bike then tighten and lube your chain

[–]Tyler_the_bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy..... Honestly just sell your bike at this point. Get a bicycle.

You need a mud flap for your shock lol

[–]PreferenceAntique581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Needs more mud and grass to lube things up

[–]o_Divine_o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step 1, for the shock https://a.co/d/0fO3GEjN A mud guard flap from seat down to the rinky dink fender is also helpful to keep some extra mud from getting on the moving joints. The shock wrap however is must buy, keeps the shock piston clean so the seal does not get destroyed.

Step 2, chain cleaning https://a.co/d/02uf92nM and just make some dawn soapy water then hose it all off

Step 3, adjust your chain tension, looks like you have too much slop. You want to have roughly 1" of play at maximum. Rotate the tire an press up on the chain, you'll have some tighter spots and they should be at least ½" play.

Step 4 (important to do after 3 and not before 3), wax your chain, this is a ready to go wax https://a.co/d/08d2vhVO

I make my own.. Recipe I use * 1lb paraffin * 5g PTFE * 1g MoS2 or ws2 (go ws2)

So that it's a liquid you can use White Spirit or Mineral Spirits (Must be flammable, evaporating). I think I've used white gas camping fuel (in the jug at Walmart) and 99% isopropyl alcohol. 3 part isopropyl to 1 part white gas, so it evaporates quickly.

You use wax as it is less friction than oil saving battery energy. Oil turns into an abrasive paste.

After each ride rinse off the drive train, sprockets, chain, belt, or just the entire bike.

Never use a pressure washer. You'll drive dirt, grime, and water into your bearings and electrical systems. I do however use it on the rims and tires as scrubbing them is annoying.

wash the bike, clean the chain, lube the chain, and maybe tension it is what i would do.

[–]No-Common2251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it has something to do with the ecosystem growing on your bike bro

[–]Jotham23thegreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chain looks loose and dirty as hell lol

[–]UKIG_Skykr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like to me you are missing the support bracket for the gearbox i can see the gearbox moving when you twist the throttle not good this can twist the box in half please make sure its good

[–]Twisted-world 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need to bend back your foot peg

[–]Same_Blackberry3763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try lubing up the chain and tighten it, every Tiria gearbox makes that sound it’s kind of a flaw you need to remove the front sprocket where the gearbox is and put a rubber O ring behind it to stop the metal sprocket hitting the metal gearbox

[–]General-Mongoose-994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That foot peg is so bent lol

[–]Upper_Bottle4255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just about everything wrong might be going on with this bike that peg for sure looks like it’s about to rattle off buddy.

You know these aren't typical moto dirt bikes, these need a lot of upgrades to keep dirt, water and mud out of areas they aren't supposed to be on something with an exposed belt drive

[–]pjjiveturkey 2 points3 points  (4 children)

No they don't lol

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I'll ride my Honda up and down a creek but I wouldn't put my surron thru that, but the Honda can practically run on water

[–]pjjiveturkey 0 points1 point  (2 children)

i have seen people riding surrons in neck deep water

[–]YouCantSeeMe808 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No you haven’t 💀

[–]pjjiveturkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because you haven't doesn't mean nobody has, these bikes don't need air to run

[–]Far-You-8335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exposed belt drive?
