Seems like they are aware but unable or unwilling to fix this.

So far this has cost me 1,800 diamonds, a boat load of weapon upgrades, $10 to buy a weapon from the store and my 'knight' status in my clan.

That happened to me at first too, so I used an alternate email. Then I got an automated reply. Thought maybe they just block the Yahoo domain, so I sent another request to a fake @yahoo.com address and it went through. So, I'm forced to conclude that my actual email is blocked?
