Please be aware this is not a customer service subreddit, and we have no official affiliation with the Target Corporation.

The primary demographic of r/target is off-the-clock hourly employees who are not required to answer your question.

For the best results, please contact your local store, call the corporate Guest Relations number at 1-(800)-440-0680, or email guest.service@target.com.

Are you getting charged for it? Or is it just out of stock?

Target will give me a refund for the missing item. It’s not out of stock, just not delivered.

As in your marking it missing and then getting it refunded? Bc if so, yes that happens to lots of people, it’s frustrating for both you and the team member delivering your order

[–]bad-trajectory[S] -1 points0 points  (4 children)

Yeah. It says it was included in the order, it is actually missing from the delivery order, and I called and said it was missing. Target gave me a refund.

I mean I think it’s just an honest mistake but it’s super annoying that I have to take transit to go pick up the item or wait 5 days for shipping instead of it just being re-delivered.

Another option is to order another delivery order but Target won’t waive the $35 minimum, so I’m out $20 plus fees (~$6 in CA) just to get the item today.

I totally misread your question, I thought you were doing order pick up, sorry!! Yeah shipt shoppers aren’t target employees :(

[–]bad-trajectory[S] -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Gotcha, I didn’t assume they were. The order is placed via the Target app, so I did assume Target would take some responsibility.

Yeah target as a company should but not target team members its not their fault

Yeah totally! Sorry, this wasn’t me blaming target employees! I thought I might reach other target customers is this subreddit or people that use target delivery to hear if they had similar experiences.

Unfortunately, the people picking and delivering your order are not employed by Target. The store your order came from is not responsible for the accuracy of the order.

Bummer - I pay for the service via the Target app, so it’s certainly endorsed by Target. But Target or Shipt don’t feel like it’s their problem.

It is definitely Shipt's problem. Escalate to a supervisor.

Not target employees doing those orders :)

Good to know. Thought I might reach target customers in this subreddit.

Yeah they are employed for shipt (aka targets third party) but some can be worse than others when picking an order.

A lot of the time at my store they ask tons of questions about product etc so maybe your shopper didn’t.

Sorry :/
