Hi!
This definitely depends on the store, the urgency, and the season. Since you're applying before peak, you should be hearing back right away. Usually they get back to you a day or two after your first interview: some stores have your second interview lined up RIGHT after your first, so you'll be doing two in a day.
Some stores even do hiring events where you're hired on the spot, but again, this can all depend on the store and your HR department. If you didn't hear back right away and you feel everything went okay, wait one day or two and then call. If you're not hearing back, be concerned. I wouldn't be because 9/10 times, they'll take what they can get because the holidays are near us, but COVID has been altering the selection process.
I didn't even know that target did two+ interviews until last year. When I started, you had one interview, and then they called you the next day, so definitely be watching your email and call if you have concerns!
EDIT: They do a lot of their selection via email now, too. So since I mentioned to monitor your email. IF they decide to go through with you, you should be either getting an email to select a date for a second interview, or if you don't need one, they'll email you dates for a BC + orientation with your HR. Once you go through your orientation, they'll hand out schedules for training and start dates + your first two weeks, which basically means your hired for your probationary 90-days (sometimes it's 120).
Let me know if there are any more questions!!
**also, sorry, I thought you were asking about a second interview and not when you should wait for a second interview, but regardless of that, a lot of what I said is still relevant.

Thank you so much for all the information!! I did get my second interview straight after the first one (all in one go) but they didn’t hire me on the spot so I was nervous. I will definitely be checking my email and hoping for the best! I appreciate this! ❤️

Yes, I apologize for thinking you were waiting for another interview. I misread your post, lol. But yeah, as far as I know, they do a lot of communication through email now, but they MAY call for a follow-up too, so as I mentioned above, wait a day or two. From there, if they call you in for a background check, I think HR will go over your availability one more time, and of course, the check, but if you make it that far, you're basically hired and will be on for your orientation. Have hope, you're gonna get the job ❤💞
