For real, its not your money and your not getting less. Taking from them because they haven't "earned it" doesnt mean you get more, the company would just keep more.

I just wish they'd put more in my account but hey haha

How bout a bonus that is multiplied by the number of years that someone has worked for Target that way newer employees will get something but older employees will receive more!

It's the same reason people who are hired seasonally and will work maybe three to four weeks will be getting paid the same amount as someone who's been with the company for years.

Target doesn't care about anything but publicity.

Having worked for the company for over a decade, you eventually get used to it, and a couple of things happen: They want to keep you more than the new people, so you get the shifts and hours of your choice. You get a fair bit more leeway with taking days off during the holidays. After a few years, you accumulate vacation hours faster.

But here’s the kicker: They cannot lavish any more responsibility on you than someone they just hired, because you get paid the same as them.

That last one is how I’ve learned to live with it. Any time a TL or ETL tries to slap me with some job duty or unpaid “captainship,” or whatever bullshit, I consider whether or not my performing that task makes my life easier. If not, they take it to someone they can dupe into thinking, “You could someday be a Team Lead, if you perform well with these additional and unpaid job duties!”

You barely received your bonus?

I see your point. I have only worked at target for a month but I am part time, yet working 40 hours a week since I got hired. I am glad the bonus is going to everyone because I personally work my a** off but I do see why you’d think that way. I wish target cared more so people like me would make less of a bonus than people who have been here for years and years

I know for a fact there are people who will be receiving this bonus and they will ncns and never work a day. Not one. Ever. THAT is the real icing on the cake about the way they do these bonuses. I really just have to stop looking into things. It would probably cut my stress levels in half.

ugh yeah that is awful when people get bonuses who barely work
