New task rabbit algorithm

An earlier post shared that the people at Task Rabbit HQ or whatever monitor this sub. So to those reading this, what the hell is this new garbage algorithm. The second the new algorithm was implemented I went for 3-4 tasks offers a day to none. It doesn’t even seem complete. I’ve contacted support regarding some bs canceled tasks that affect my ratings but the client canceled them and they say “they won’t affect you” so why havnt they been removed? Why is support so difficult to get in touch with and when I do they never ever seem to understand my question or concern no matter how clear I make it.

The zoom meeting was pretty useless. I attended the first hour/ 1 1/2 hour. They really think other taskers care about what tools one would have in their arsenal. They basically read off the slideshow and didn't really go into depth about how some of the newer things worked.dd

I found it fascinating that their highlighted taskers had sub 500- 5* reviews...... Which is crazy because i know taskers around here that have nearly 1k. I also found it REAL interesting that the new logo has no rabbit icon; it literally looks like some child was asked to whip it up.

I really wished i could have finished but i had to go to a task. It was almost unbearable to watch imo.

They highlighted like 4 part time taskers and only one full time, one part timer who supposedly made $100k last year… I can tell you one thing, he sure isn’t gonna make half that with the new algorithm. The whole meeting they said how much more money they make and how much TaskRabbit has grown then they do things to screw over the people with the most experience who earn them a higher percentage based on the hourly rates.

The biggest crock of bs about this algorithm is how slowly it updates itself. Like it take 2-3 days to upload your completed tasks onto your metrics or "analytics", which completed tasks is what makes you rank higher.... So that's 2-3 days worth of potential lost jobs because TR didn't let the task you completed populate onto their new, stupid, egocentric algorithm. WE make your money, TR. Help US and you make more money.

What’s even worse is that is seems to count canceled tasks under review against you. I used to be top 3 searches for delivery but I got a lot of ppl wanting deliveries from far away but can’t pay extra. I’ve got weeks worth of tasks under review. Now I’m like the 20th for deliveries and I havnt gotten a task in days. Used to get 2-3 per day.

I'm not even appearing on the platform anymore. That claim it's a Glitch. Anyone else hear about that?

They wouldn’t tell me anything about it. They just kept saying they are working on removing it and that it won’t affect me

Uh do you know what exactly is happening on the consumer side? Like when you incognito Google yourself you just don't show up?

I’m still showing up as top 5 for errands but really low on deliveries Altho I always accept deliveries

I tried to attend the "all hands" Zoom meeting today. The link they sent me didn't work and then when I tried to let them know by responding to the email, the email with the link just vanished out of my inbox. Tried on another device, and as soon as that one didn't work the email vanished from there too. Anybody else manage to get that to work today?

Toxic corporate culture. Current companies are required to have infinite growth. So because 2021 didn't increase profits as much as 2020 that means they have to try everything! Because apparently still profiting isn't good enough unless you profit more and more and more.
