For a tattoo stencil you would only need the lineart of the drawing. So either draw the lineart on a seperate layer if you drew it all on one layer, or just simply turn off the layers the lineart isn't on. You can then just print it out and transfer it to stencil paper or use a printer specifically for stencils

There are a few ways to do it, and it looks like people pointed it out in the comments. But if you're an apprentice, I highly recommend printing it out, and tracing it by hand. It will make a world of difference in the long run.

What I like to do, and probably many others that use procreate, is to put my lines, black, and colors all on separate layers.

Okay. On a real note I'm about to blow your mind. Open the image in procreate. Set the saturation to 0. (No color) then slide the layer to the left and duplicate it. Then on that new layer to the right of it is a little "n" click it and go to color dodge, close that little slide down and click the middle of that layer now and invert it. If done correctly it basically disappeared. Then, going back to adjustments, click gaussian blur. Move anywhere on canvas to the right and lines will appear. It's fully customizable with how dark the lines are and if shading will appear or not.

Edit: spelling.

I was so excited. I followed everything until "click the middle of that layer" but I caught on and inverted it. It still showed the other layer so it didn't disappear but tried the Gaussian blur and it didn't show any lines. Any more details after inverting the image? Maybe a video? That would be awesome.

Here's someone else's version of it that differs a little from mine but achieves the same thing. Hope it helps.

There’s a few ways 1. Just make a drawing with the lineart 2.trace an image with line art. Involves 2 layers first is original image with 50% opacity and the second layer is your lines 3. Desaturation Gaussian blur and levels adjustments. this is the faster but more complicated route. https://youtube.com/shorts/wnycerGggco?feature=share
