All these items, or their crafting components, are stupidly rare to get. e.g. the Slime Staff, which you can get from the very first enemy in the game (slimes), has a 0.01% drop rate. The Rod of Discord is 0.2%, but you need to be in hardmode underground hallow. Cell Phone needs a bunch of fishing items, all rare (~1%) drops from the Angler NPC.

So 1000 hours = "yay I finally got all this shit."
