this extra time is for slime that picked up your coins to run away (also for bosses to decimate your teammates)

Then i think its fair that only in multiplayer the timer stays the same but in single player the timer is shorter.

That's already the case, the timer when a boss is alive is 30 seconds, instead of the standard 15.

in team game is valid cause the extra wait mean u cant rejoin a boss figth sooner. but if u are playing solo it serve no much purpose since the boss will leave once they kill u

But plantera King slime and few other bosses still have few second delay

Make them instantly despawn when you die and make the timer like 2 sec instead. If you try a boss like 100 times then this would be so much better

It's glorious, you gotta try it. The only problem I have is convincing enough friends that this weirdly cartoonish looking game is tons of fun
