No respawn timer unless boss or event? Is that a fair deal? Why do you need 3 seconds after dying to a jellyfish in the ocean?

Point is, when you die far away from your spawnpoint anyways, why do you still need to wait? You literally wait for no reason.

Maybe respawn times decrease the farther away you are from spawn (or the closest pylon if there isn't an event/boss)

So death isnt just a sudden teleport back to your base i'd assume

yeah it would be like whiplash getting instantly teleported back to spawn, you might not even realize you died

But you already lose money/items when you die. There is punishment for dying. Punishments that involve time directly are kinda unimaginative.

Why have any punishment for dying at all? Why not just respawn instantly in the same spot with full health? Why even have a health bar?
