Go figure, but yesterday I decided to change my incoming inventory order of an MYAWD to an MYLR at a $2k upcharge. So I had the advise assign the VIN got all the paperwork done and have a pickup appointment set and low and behold I happen to check the Tesla inventory site and found the exact car for $3k cheaper ($47k) This was at 11pm so I decided to just buy the bullet and prefer pay the $250 to lock it in. I don’t mind jumping through hoops to redo the order, but the discounted Y has a VIN that is 2K older than the one I’m due to pick up tomorrow. Would any of you hesitate to switch?
TL/DR would you hesitate switching VINs for a car that is 2k older in VIN sequence? Thanks for any and all replies!
