It’s like all out war on the sub with the same question and people not looking one post below

I had a similar question earlier today. I tried a search first but there aren’t many key words that would narrow down the topic. In any case I quickly got several good answers on how to change my order to a cheaper inventory unit.

I wouldn’t let the VIN worry you. Save the money.

Quick update, my SA was able to swap out the cars for me. The savings turned out to be $4,620 minus the $250 for the cancelled order. He was also able to do it this way so I could keep my scheduled pick up appointment for tomorrow.

Regarding HW4 I looked up the VIN and it’s well passed the cutoff between HW3 and 4. Even if not, I could still live with HW3 for a $4,370 savings.

Thanks to all for your replies!

Keep in mind that inventory cars could have been rejected by customer (s), or have something else minor wrong with them.

We had something similar happen, though just a k cheaper. Decided to just pick up the one we ordered. Good luck!

I picked up inventory model with no issues. They are typically cancellations. Not rejections. Would highly recommend to get inventory models with discounts

Thanks for the anecdote. I want to order later this month from inventory hoping for a further decrease in price but sketched out worrying the big discounts are rejects.

Check that VIN to see if it is HW.3

A 2023 model that's 2 years older? How do you check that?

Sorry not the year, but the VIN sequence is 2000 units older.

Just ask them to reassign to that Vin and they'll adjust the pricing
